Scope and Contents
This collection documents the history of the Georgia Tech Amateur Radio club. A history of the club is included, summarizing the club's activities during its history. Video footage of the W4AQL “shack” in room E180 of the Van Leer Electrical Engineering building and the remote station in Woodbury, GA are included as well as video files of the attempt to contact and actual contact with the amateur radio operator on the space shuttle Challenger in 1985.
Additional documentation of the club's activities includes newsletters, meeting minutes and other correspondence. Operating logs, certificates and the club’s QSL card collection are included as well.
