Loose Clippings and Correspondence, ca. 1926-1930
Description
The Harold A. Faisst Papers include a scrapbook and a small amount of loose correspondence and clippings. The scrapbook includes newspaper clippings relating to the Georgia Tech football team, Faisst's friends and teammates, Faisst's fraternity, and his own accomplishments. Contents of the scrapbook also include 1929 Rose Bowl memorabilia, fraternity ephemera, tickets from a trip to Europe, several personal letters and telegrams, a postcard, event programs and menus, tickets to dances, report cards, several ribbons, and a few photographs. The photographs are described with the other visual materials in Harold A. Faisst Visual Materials VAM086.
The folder of loose papers contains fraternity newsletters, a fraternity award, correspondence pertaining to Faisst's role as president of his fraternity, several tickets from Europe, a newspaper clipping regarding a fraternity dance, initiation instructions for new pledges, and a newspaper clipping about the Rose Bowl.
