Knight, Montgomery: General Flight Analysis of the Helicopter, January 1942
Description
SERIES 2 consists of a collection of articles and research, most by members of the faculty in aerospace engineering. Prominent are several of the faculty who served on the early administration in the School of Aerospace Engineering, including A. L. (Arnold Lionel) Ducoffe, D. W. (Donnell Wayne) Dutton, and Montgomery Knight. These materials chronicle the research that was taking place at Georgia Tech, particularly during the era of World War II and the period immediately preceding it, on subjects such as helicopters and supersonic flight. Some of the articles, particularly some of those by Dutton and Knight, discuss the establishment of aerospace engineering at Georgia Tech and its early years.
