St. Luke's, 1955-1977 and undated

Subseries 1 contains the general personal files of Ella Wall Van Leer. Highlights from this subseries include biographical information concerning Ella Van Leer's life prior to and during her marriage; a baby book for the Van Leers' first child, Blake Wayne Van Leer; nursing notebooks created during World War I; the Van Leers' marriage license dating from September 1924; a personal scrapbook containing numerous biographical newspaper clippings, correspondence, and an essay on the history of the land of the Georgia Tech President's home; Ella Van Leer's map collection, containing maps of Atlanta, Georgia, and the region dating back to the 1930s; and yearbooks from the high school that Ella Van Leer attended, as well as from some of the high schools at which she taught.
