The correspondence in this subseries provides rich documentation of the daily lives of Ella Wall Van Leer's major correspondents, particularly those of her son, Blake Wayne Van Leer and her daughter, Maryly Van Leer Peck. Other correspondents include Ella Van Leer's grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends. Also included in this subseries are some drafts of outgoing correspondence.
