The Egleston Hospital subseries documents Ella Wall Van Leer's work as Director of Volunteers from about 1959 to 1976. Included are numerous Egleston publications with articles and/or photographs of Van Leer; her 1967 speech on working with teen-age volunteers; a 1950 history of Egleston; correspondence; and the contents of a scrapbook on her activities at Egleston.
