The Tarleton papers include the publication Tarleton Records, published in 1950, with 1957 additions by Ella Wall Van Leer on Jeremiah Tarleton, Revolutionary soldier, and his descendants. (Mary McKee Tarleton, Blake Ragsdale Van Leer’s mother, was Jeremiah Tarleton’s great-granddaughter.) These records also include the memorial book for Mary McKee Tarleton, who died in 1954.
