Very little is known about Day Davis, except that he lived in Rutledge, Georgia, at the time of the creation of this scrapbook (probably the early 1930s). According to genealogical sources, a Day Davis (born August 21, 1896) lived in the Rutledge area and married Clyde Haile (born 1901) in 1926. This Day Davis may have been the one responsible for the creation of this scrapbook.
A print copy of this finding aid is available in the Georgia Tech Archives reading room.
Immediate provenance is unknown. Accession number: 1993.0406.
Because the original scrapbook pages are very fragile, the pages have been photocopied for researchers.
