The Southeast Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians (SESAH) is a nonprofit chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians. It was founded in 1982 by Mitchel Bring, John Howett, Mark Linch, and Catherine Howett. SESAH serves to promote interest and study in historical architecture and related subjects, as well as to exchange ideas among architects, historians, preservations, and like professionals. It has annual meetings with speakers, tours, and lectures, as well as regular publications such as the peer-reviewed Arris and a tri-annual newsletter. SESAH has a number of awards it offers, including the Best of South and Publication awards.
