Famous Science Fiction Tales of Wonder began in 1966 under Health Knowledge, Inc. It only published nine issues across its life span, the final issue being published in spring of 1969. It mostly reprinted stories from Wonder Stories and Astounding Stories. It never built up much of a following or many sales, and this lack of popularity lead to its folding a mere three years after its beginning.
