Begun in 1953, Fiction was considered one of the highest quality science fiction periodicals in France. It was published by Editions OPTA. The magazine was known for its striking and fantastic cover illustrations, which were often done in pen and ink with a highlight color. In continued running through the end of the 1900s, and ceased publication in 2015.
