The Year's Greatest Science Fiction and Fantasy was a annual science fiction anthology curated and edited by Judith Merrill. Unlike many similar anthologies, The Year's Greatest Science Fiction and Fantasy did not pull from just one magazine, but rather included works from a very wide, changing selection of publicaitons. Some of those publications included the popular Astounding and Fantasy and Science Fiction, as well as less sci-fi focused publications like Good Housekeeping, Boys' Life, and The New York Times.
