Venture Science Fiction was begun in 1957 as a companion publication to The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. It was not very successful, and only published ten issues before ceasing publication in 1958. It was revived in 1969, again as a companion to The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, but onlu published six issues before permanently ceasing.
