Bibliography

'Authentic Science Fiction' was a British magazine published by Hamilton & Co., which ran for 85 issues from January 1951 to October 1957. Over the course of years--and three editors, Gordon Landsborough, H.J. Campbell, and E.C. Tubb--the magazine slowly changed in format. Initially published as a paperback novel every two weeks, letters from readers and editorials began to appear alongside the novel content, until issue 29 when it shifted to a more traditional magazine format. The magazine had lukewarm reception: low rates of pay all but barred submissions from more skilled writers. Pocket book-sized for most of its run, 'Authentic' was published in digest size for its last eight issues.
