First published in 1953 by Ballantine Books, Star Science Fiction Stories was a science fiction anthology lasting from 1953 to 1959. Each of these 6 volumes were edited by Frederik Pohl and featured works from notable authors such as Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov, and Ray Bradbury. In 1972, each volume was reprinted to feature cover art from John Berkey.
