Empire for the SF Writer was a science fiction quarterly magazine founded and edited by Mark J. McGarry in 1974. This magazine guide was meant to “assist, inform, and entertain the science fiction writer” (Source: Empire for the SF Writer). Features included articles, columns, interviews, workshops, and tips relating to writing and distributing science fiction literature. Beginning with issue no. 24, the periodical was edited by Mary Kittredge.
