The Technique newspaper documents student life during the twentieth and twenty-first centuries on the Georgia Tech campus. Almost a full run of the newspaper is available in print form, with the exception of the most recent issues as well as several of the issues in Volumes 2 through 9 (1912-1920) and a few of the issues in Volume 22 (1932-1933). The newest issues (from approximately 2000 to the present) are kept up to date in the online version, and all earlier issues are gradually being digitized.
Founded in 1911, the Technique is the student newspaper of the Georgia Institute of Technology and an official publication of the Georgia Tech Board of Student Publications. Subtitled The South's Liveliest College Newspaper,
at the time of writing (October 2009) the Technique prints on Fridays weekly during the fall and spring, and biweekly during the summer.
Analog forms are arranged in chronological order.
A print copy of this finding aid is available in the Georgia Tech Archives reading room.
