Raymond Luther Gamble, a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, entered Georgia Tech in 1925, as a "Special Student" in the Textile Engineering's two-year course. However, he did not continue his education at Tech and withdrew on November 16, 1925, for reasons unknown to the faculty.
