This collection contains a drafting manual and several drawings, most likely from a drawing course that each student was required to take. Also, there is a small note accompanying the collection, which reads, "drawing by Lucas' father".
Mechanical drawing was a requirement of virtually all engineering programs at Georgia Tech from as early as 1900. Drawing was required in almost every term of all years of these programs.
A print copy of this finding aid is available in the Georgia Tech Archives reading room.
