This collection consists of fraternity certificates for individuals as well as charter member certificates for several fraternities at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Scope and Contents

This collection consists of fraternity certificates for individuals as well as charter member certificates for several fraternities at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Individual certificates for Alpha Tau Omega, Delta Sigma Phi, and Tau Beta Phi are found in the collection. A 1914 charter member certificate for the honor society Phi Kappa Phi includes Tech President Kenneth G. Matheson in addition to Tech professors Gilbert Hillhouse Boggs, William Henry Emerson, and William Vernon Skiles; also included are charter member certificates for Tau Beta Pi and the honorary chemical society Phi Lambda Epsilon.
