This collection contains records of meeting minutes, documents covering ceremony procedures, copies of invitations, budget summaries, purchase receipts, schedules, notes, programs, lists, and news clippings generated during the preparations for G. Wayne Clough's inauguration as President of the Georgia Institute of Technology.
The G. Wayne Clough Presidential Inauguration Committee was a committee set up to plan the inauguration of Georgia Tech's tenth president, G. Wayne Clough. The committee consisted of 26 members, with Thomas D. Galloway, Dean of the College of Architecture, as the chairperson. Among the prominent members of the committee was Carole E. Moore, then the Assistant Vice President for Student Services. The meetings started around December 1994 and concluded close to the event, which took place on May 12, 1995.
The collection is arranged in alphabetical order by folder title.

Several Georgia Tech buttons and one name tag with a ribbon have been separated and placed in the artifacts collection. Duplicate buttons have been removed.
