Scope and Contents
The Subject Files at the Georgia Tech Archives contain background information on a wide array of subjects relating mainly to Georgia Tech and its history. The Subject Files contain information on Georgia Tech traditions, buildings and grounds, sports, academics, and extracurricular activities. Also included are subject files relating to other collecting areas at the Georgia Tech Archives such as science fiction, textile mills of the Southeast, and architectural design.
Administrative History of the Georgia Tech Vertical Files
The Georgia Tech Archives' Vertical Files have been in existence since about the 1980s. Materials have been gathered over the years from a variety of sources, including Atlanta newspapers, Georgia Tech publications, other serial publications, and ephemera.
