This collection consists of one bound volume containing issues of the Yellow Jacket Confidential. These newsletters served to update Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football fans after bowl games, spring practice games, and all regular-season games of the team. Ed Danforth, long-time journalist for the Yellow Jackets in Atlanta newspapers, wrote the newsletter from at least 1958 to 1962; Bob Wallace, another journalist for the Yellow Jackets, took over as author in 1963; beginning in 1970, George P. Burdell is credited as the author. This volume includes most issues between 1958 and 1970. However, the 1958 issues indicate that the newsletter was then in its eighth edition; the volume is therefore missing the first seven years of the newsletter's publication. It is not known if the publication continued after 1970.
A print copy of this finding aid is available on request in the Georgia Tech Archives reading room.
