Arthur G. Hansen Visual Materials
This collection consists of photographs of President Arthur G. Hansen during his time in office at Georgia Tech and slightly after, as president at Purdue University. It also contains photos of billboards for Georgia Tech's radio station, WGST, around Atlanta.
Early Presidents Collection
The early presidents of Georgia Tech were influential in shaping the character of the institution and determining its future. Materials contained within this collection include correspondence, press releases, school records, maps and architectural drawings from the presidencies of Lyman Hall, Kenneth G. Matheson, Marion L. Brittain, and Blake R. Van Leer.
Early Presidents Photograph Collection
This collection consists of numerous photographs of Georgia Tech President Blake Van Leer while in office (1944-1956), but there is also one photograph of William Alexander, Georgia Tech football coach from 1920 to 1944. Several photographs were found in an envelope marked Gasper-Ware Studio (876 West Peachtree Street, Atlanta).
G. Wayne Clough speeches collection
This collection includes speeches, lectures, and presentations given by G. Wayne Clough, during his tenure as the tenth President of the Georgia Institute of Technology (1994-2008). The collection exists only in its original digital form.
Lyman Hall Correspondence
This collection consists of the outgoing correspondence of Lyman Hall, President of the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1898-1905, from the first eight years of his presidency.
Office of Institute Communications and Public Affairs (ICPA) Visual Materials
This collection contains photographs used by Institute Communications and Public Affairs at Georgia Tech for marketing and publications. Some photographs are historical images, but most are from approximately 1980-1998 and pertain to events at Georgia Tech during that time period.
Office of the President: Arthur G. Hansen Records
These records cover the two-year period during which Arthur G. Hansen was President of Georgia Tech (1969-1971), as well as the last three to five year period of the administration of President Edwin D. Harrison. These papers include administrative and personal correspondence as well as financial files.
Office of the President: John P. Crecine Records
The Crecine records contain files documenting the day-to-day operations of the upper administration of Georgia Tech from the years prior to Crecine's Presidency through his last year in office.
President Edwin D. Harrison Papers
Serving as Georgia Tech's sixth president from 1957-1969, Edwin Harrison saw the school through integration, unprecedented campus expansion, nuclear energy research, and the school's 75th anniversary. Materials relating to these subjects and many others include correspondence, architectural plans, institutional and departmental reports, meeting minutes and newspaper clippings.
President Edwin D. Harrison Photograph Collection
The photographs in this collection depict the Edison Foundation Conference on Cooperative Education, attended by President Harrison, and aerial views of the Southern Technical Institute and Naval Air Station.
President's Slides, 1960
The slides are primarily from the 1960s and are color photographs. Some of the slides are undated and unidentified, while others have descriptions written on the slides themselves. Included are pictures from the 75th Anniversary celebrations, the 1962 Convocation, the innauguration of Arthur Hansen, pictures of Tech's campus and Tech students, pictures of charts and graphs and other information, as well as pictures of research and manufacturing equipment.
Van Leer Family Papers
This collection documents the personal and family life of Blake Ragsdale Van Leer and Ella Wall Van Leer, their children, and their grandchildren.
