This report covers the third year, 1999-2000, of the grant given to the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University to build virtual library capabilities at both libraries. The report includes hard copies of information on web site and a CD-ROM, "National Security for the 21st Century."
In May, 1997, the Georgia Tech and Emory University libraries received a grant from the Robert W. Woodruff Foundation, Inc., to build virtual library capabilities at both libraries. This project was named Selected Archives at Georgia Tech and Emory (SAGE). The primary goals were to provide electronic access to significant archival collections in all formats (text, photographs, audio and video) to Georgia citizens and researchers worldwide; to develop proficiency in this technology beyond the life of the grant; and to contribute to the development of virtual libraries around the world.
A print copy of this finding aid is available in the Georgia Tech Archives reading room.
The SAGE Report was transferred from the library (Accession #2003.037; old number: 2003.37).
