People and Student Life, 1960s, 1970s
The slides are primarily from the 1960s and are color photographs. Some of the slides are undated and unidentified, while others have descriptions written on the slides themselves. Included are pictures from the 75th Anniversary celebrations, the 1962 Convocation, the innauguration of Arthur Hansen, pictures of Tech's campus and Tech students, pictures of charts and graphs and other information, as well as pictures of research and manufacturing equipment.
Ramblin' Reck Parade Photographs
This collection contains black and white photographs of the 1951 Ramblin' Reck Parade.
Register of Students
This volume is a signature register of Georgia Tech students. Originally a record of honor pledges, each entry in the volume includes the student's signature, post office, birth place and date, class entered, date of entrance, parent or guardian, time and manner of leaving (withdrawal or graduation date), and remarks.
Regulations for Students, Faculty, and Instructors
The Regulations for Students, Faculty, and Instructors consists of booklets and some accompanying textual material outlining the rules and regulations for governing the student body at Georgia Tech.
Richard Manly Harris Visual Materials
This collection is primarily composed of pictures of Sigma Phi Epsilon-related subjects, a collage of pictures of Georgia Tech's campus, and people dressed for "a day on the town" or "1910."
Robert D. Neill Photograph Collection
Robert Deaver Neill graduated from Georgia Tech in 1943 with a degree in either Industrial Management or Electrical Engineering. While a student at Georgia Tech, he was a member of the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity and Navy R.O.T.C. This collection contains silver gelatin prints, which were taken and developed by Robert Neill or photographer John T. Moore of Seneca, South Carolina.
Sophomore Petition (Georgia School of Technology)
This petition consists of a single oversized sheet of paper on which members of the sophomore class at Georgia Tech wrote a petition asking to be permitted to remove their coats during classroom work.
Student Activities Report
This report from the first term of the 1933-1934 school year focuses on student activities, such as student classes, sports, fraternities, and clubs.
Student Directory
This volume is a handwritten directory of Georgia Tech students. Each entry in the volume includes the student's last name, first and middle initials, class, city address, name and address of parent or guardian, and the county. A column labelled "Sec." includes notations, possibly by the Secretary of the Faculty or the Registrar, indicating the student's major and/or withdrawal date.
Student Government Association Records: Annual Reports
This collection contains the annual reports and minutes of the Student Council (later the Student Government Association) from the 1960s at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Student Handbooks (Georgia Institute of Technology)
The handbooks in Series 1 describe programs and activities available for undergraduate students, while Series 2 contains guides specifically intended for graduate students at Georgia Tech. Handbooks for students in specific fields are found in Series 3.

Technique
The Technique newspaper documents student life during the twentieth and twenty-first centuries on the Georgia Tech campus. This collection is available in analog form, and some volumes are also available digitally.
The Georgia Tech / The Yellow Jacket
The Yellow Jacket is a college journal in which articles, essays, and poems by Georgia Tech students, faculty, or alumni were published. The Archives holds a few issues from The Georgia Tech, the title of the journal from 1894 to 1908, as well as volumes 14 through 19 of The Yellow Jacket, covering the years 1910 to 1916.
Undergraduate Admissions Catalogs (Georgia Institute of Technology)
This collection consists of Georgia Tech admissions catalogs, containing information on qualifications and deadlines for admission; campus life at Georgia Tech; brief descriptions of academic programs, freshman courses, and undergraduate degrees; admission policies and procedures; and financial aid.
Vice President for Student Affairs records
The collection consists of administrative files and student government records from the office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, including minutes of several student organizations, long-range and strategic planning files, materials on organizations in the Vice President’s purview, and biographical files on selected Vice Presidents.
Vincent T. Zarzaca Papers
This collection contains material compiled by Vincent Zarzaca during his time as a student at Georgia Tech, including several receipts and letters about housing, information about purchasing a class ring, registration documents, and a faculty-student directory.
William A. Cashin, Jr. Papers
William A. Cashin Jr. graduated from Georgia Tech in Electrical Engineering in 1955. This collection includes class notes and tests from his time as a student.
William F. Leslie Papers
This collection contains materials accumulated during William F. Leslie's career at Georgia Tech, including humorous newspaper articles, particularly on the rivalry between Tech and the University of Georgia; programs for several Georgia Tech events; correspondence regarding Tech registration and admission; and other administrative documents.
William F. Montgomery Photograph Collection
William F. Montgomery, Class of 1904, collected these photographs which document his classmates and friends at Georgia Tech, particularly the School of Chemical Engineering.
Woodall-Matthews Papers
The Woodall-Matthews Papers consists primarily of the coursework of John Henry Woodall, Jr. (1917-2005) who graduated from Georgia Tech in 1938. Also included are coursework and training from his time spent in the Navy in the early 1940s. There is a small amount of material from Charles W. Matthews, Woodall's great-uncle and a 1904 graduate of Tech.
Woodall-Matthews Visual Materials
The Woodall-Matthews Visual Materials contains photographs from the 1920 Greater Georgia Tech Industrial Tour as well as group photographs of the classes of 1904 and 1908. There is also a photo of Alpha Tau Omega and drawings for class assignments, both from the 1930s.
Woodshop term reports
This collection consists of alphabetical rosters of woodshop students at Georgia Tech, recording examination and term grades, the number of hours due, and other student records.
Y. Frank Freeman Photograph Collection
The Y. Frank Freeman Photograph Collection contains photographs documenting Freeman’s life, particularly as it related to his career as an executive with Paramount Pictures. The collection is full of photographs of entertainers, movie stars, movie executives, and world political figures. There is also a series of personal images, including images related to his childhood, Georgia Tech, and baseball.
