The Isaac S. Hopkins Papers contain a single item, a printed copy of an address given by Hopkins at Emory College in 1883 entitled "Industrial Education: A Statement and a Plea." In this alumni address, Hopkins advocates the addition of an industrial educational component to Emory's curriculum, tracing the background and significance of the movement in educational history.

The William E. Fincher Papers are composed of three Southern Football Officials Association Rule Books -- the 1929 Official Foot Ball Rules, the 1930 Official Foot Ball Rules, and the 1932 Rule Book.

The Engineering Retention Project records are composed of a summary of the third-year activities of the project; an annotated bibliography on general student retention; a report on undergraduate persistence to the baccalaureate; a report on the effects of social support on college adjustment; a study on why students leave universities without a degree; and a perspective on the causes of college retention.

These records are made up of two certificates awarded to Ronald A. Kampa in 1981 and to Robert Wilson Ash in 1984, respectively, in recognition of their successfully completing the Social Sciences Minors Program, with an area of specialty in philosophy.
